My contribution

I source suppliers and artisans, develop samples, select materials and colours, negotiate costs and follow production through quality review. The work connects creative references with the practical decisions needed to make each object.

Glass: Greece, France and Italy—colour, form and artisan production. Carpets: India—artwork adaptation, colour sampling and production. Textiles: France and Portugal—embroidery, printing and colour development. Ceramics: Greece, France, Italy, Poland and New York—form, glazing, decoration and samples. Rattan and wood: Colombia—material sourcing, construction and finishing.

Research and sourcing references include Maison&Objet, Heimtextil, Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone.
